Services firm Synopsis A top 10 UK professional
services firm, in infrastructure design and project management,
required a major review of its market sectors and sources of potential
income for its 2002/5 business plan. ServQ worked with the client’s
directors to evaluate the future markets by geography, sector and
function. This enabled “right shaping” and more accurate resource
planning for future years.
(2) Partnering With Xcel Energy Synopsis Xcel Energy is one the world's top electricity and gas groups, serving 4.8 million customer in 12 US states and working in 17 countries worldwide. The company has revenues of US$11+bn. Partnership Continuum Inc and ServQ are working in partnership with over 100 Xcel staff to build an infrastructure for the effective management of numerous strategic alliances and out-sourced activities.
(3) Key Account Skills in Professional Services Synopsis A large professional
services firm needed to develop key account skills for 100 of its
UK staff. The project involved account awareness training and analysis,
using bespoke tools and training, in 7 UK regional offices over
a 2 month period. This was part of a major programme to make the
management more customer orientated
(4) Planning for changes in the UK Defence Sector
Services Synopsis A top UK professional services firm, in infrastructure and management, required a programme to position it for future changes in property procurement, management and maintenance within UK Defence Estates. ServQ analysed the Defence Estates' requirements, reviewed the professional service firm's current customer rating and co-chaired a workshop on best practice for future client delivery.
(5) Local Healthcare Partnerships Synopsis A specialist UK based Healthcare business needed to verify its business plan to develop numerous local health facilities in alliance with the medical and allied professions. Over a 12-month period ServQ facilitated value management/strategic planning workshops for the board and professional medical teams.
